CHILD SAFETY TOTAL GRADE: A-
harness system
positive reviewsA+
With a five point harness system, the Baby Jogger 2 stroller delivers a secure ride for your child, as parents of even the wiggliest child can attest to.
maneuvering
positive reviewsB+
From the nearly 100% raves on the smooth easy ride offered by this stroller, it would seem their should be a plus sign in front of that A. But a very small percentage had complaints after repeated use that the stroller: (1) didn't turn easily, (2) brakes weren't very effective on hills, and (3) the brake didn't engage after the first try. Note: these complaints came after extended use as a jogger stroller (not a walking stroller). Additionally, several reviewers appreciated the tether and the hand brake, although they said running with the stroller takes a bit of getting used to.
sturdiness
positive reviewsB+
With a lifetime warranty on the light aluminum frame, this stroller sports an incredible durable body as many reviewers can attest to. One serious Alaskan jogger found that after a year of use, the bolts in the wheels started coming loose. Also, one mother noted that her wiggly son would try to push up on the stroller canopy, causing it to tilt back.
