CONVENIENCE TOTAL GRADE: A
weight
positive reviewsA-
Weighing in at 33 pounds, the City Series Double is definitely not lightweight, but as double all-terrain strollers go it's still a lightweight (e.g. Mountain Buggy Urban Double and the Valco Twin Runabout are 2 pounds heavier). Even though the City Series Double is over 30 pounds, reviewers were unanimously positive about the overall feel and weight of the frame.
folding
positive reviewsA+
It's always a good sign when the stroller manufacturers patent their folding mechanism... which is exactly what they did at Baby Jogger with their City Series Double. The design requires a quick-n-easy one-handed grab of the fabric strap/folding mechanism inside each seat. What's more, parents unanimously felt that this all-terrain stroller seemed relatively compact when collapsed-- which is saying something when you're talking about a double all-terrain stroller!
cleaning
positive reviewsA+
Just another perk to this double all-terrain: every piece of fabric on the City Series Double is removable and machine washable for the inevitable messiness of your cute little monsters... errr, we mean passengers, cute little passengers. Isn't it nice when a stroller company has designers that are parents?
storage options
positive reviewsA
Although most parents were quick to note that the under seat basket wasn't the world's largest, they appreciated the supplemental large back pockets available on each seat-back, which can easily fit wipes, wallets, and other forms of whatnot.
