CONVENIENCE TOTAL GRADE: A
weight
positive reviewsA-
At 21 pounds, the City Series Single actually pulls a pound on the Mountain Buggy Urban Single's 22.6 pounds, not to mention all the parents that happily reported how easy and lightweight this all-terrain stroller felt when they stowed it in their vehicles. Still, we didn't feel that a true 'A' was in order, as the City Series Single is still not a feather weight all-terrain miracle quite yet.
folding
positive reviewsA+
You know you've got a winner of a stroller when they decide to patent the folding mechanism they've designed. Which is exactly what they did at Baby Jogger with their City Series. The design requires a very simple one-handed grab of the folding mechanism inside the seat. Reviewers also unanimously reported that the stroller seemed quite compact when folded up.
cleaning
positive reviewsA+
The City Series Single is covered in stain-resistant removable seat covers, which can be thrown in the machine for washing when necessary. Needless to say, the stroller is easy to keep clean.
storage options
positive reviewsA
Parents were unanimously positive about the size of the underseat basket as well as appreciative of the parent pocket on the hood-- although a few parents made the ever-obvious comment that a cupholder is lacking.
