CONVENIENCE TOTAL GRADE: B
weight
positive reviewsC
At 27 pounds, the Expedition is not at risk of accidentally floating away whatsoever. More than 10% of people felt that it was a little heavy to lift and two parents reported that it was actually heavy to push, especially when it came to pushing it up hill. Still, there were several parents who felt that the Expedition wasn't too heavy and especially for the price.
folding
positive reviewsB-
Overall, most parents felt that the folding mechanism on the Expedition jogging stroller was quite easy to use, although one parent reported that over time, the mechanics of the stroller made folding increasingly more difficult to the point that the entire stroller eventually became impossible to fold.
In terms of the bulk of the stroller when folded down, well, it is a jogging stroller with large pneumatic tires, so it's not surprise that many parents reported that the frame took up loads of space in their car-- to the point of not fitting in smaller trunks. Generally, we don't recommend taking serious jogging strollers in your trunk unless necessary as it's just easier to not collapse it and keep it in your garage for easy use--that is, assuming you have a garage and the spare space.
cleaning
positive reviewsA-
Although the seating and canopy material aren't removable, the Expedition is fairly easy to keep clean if you wipe it down with a bit of hot soapy water.
storage options
positive reviewsA+
One area that the Expedition does shine: pockets and extra little storage spaces. With a large roomy underseat basket, canopy pockets to keep keys and cell phone, as well as a parent console, reviewers were all unanimously positive about the storage provided on this affordable jogging stroller.
