CHILD SAFETY TOTAL GRADE: B-
harness system
positive reviewsB
In the front seat: the three point harness system wasn't considered overly ineffective, although the lack of a proper recline angle for infants had some parents worrying about their infants' heads "flopping around".
In the jump seat/standing area: although some parents appreciated the added restraint provided by the little buckle, others noted that their child quickly figured out how to un-clasp the belt and continued to jump off the stroller while it was in motion.
maneuvering
positive reviewsC
As a narrow double stroller, many parents found it relatively "easier than other double strollers" to steer through crowded areas and aisles, with some parents reporting that they could turn on a dime. At the same time a good number of parents complained that it was very difficult to steer on anything besides the smoothest surfaces.
sturdiness
positive reviewsA
Of those parents that liked the Sit N Stand enough to continue using it over time, there were no reports of significant breakdowns, although one mother noted that the fabric started to bunch and wear after four months.
