CONVENIENCE TOTAL GRADE: B
weight
positive reviewsB+
Many parents felt that the Sit N Stand was somewhat heavy at 25 lbs, while others felt that it was lighter relative to other strollers.
folding
positive reviewsC
Parental reviews were very mixed for the Sit N Stand in terms of the folding and bulk of the stroller frame. Approximately 65% of parents felt that the stroller was easy to fold, while the rest complained that it was difficult and annoying as the carseat latch must be removed and the wheels continuously got in the way when collapsing the stroller. Note: It is suggested that the wheels be locked in the straight position before folding the stroller down. In terms of bulk, many parents felt it was either a bit bulky or much too bulky when folded down, although many parents felt if was not as bulky as a regular double stroller.
cleaning
positive reviewsA
With removable seat covers, the Sit N Stand is quite easy to keep clean with a quick toss of the material into the washing machine.
storage options
positive reviewsB-
Although 85% of parents felt that there was enough space in the storage basket (fits a normal diaper bag), the main complaint (95%) was the inaccessibility of the basket when there is a child sitting in the jump seat. The good news is that newest 2006 Sit N Stand models are now built with a side snap for easier access.
