COMFORT TOTAL GRADE: C+
seating
positive reviewsC+
The Sit N Stand is designed to accommodate two children of different ages. Your options are 1) toddler in the back with the infant in their car seat (it has a universal car seat adaptor bar) or 2) toddler in the back and baby sitting in the front seat. The toddler can either sit buckled into the jump seat or stand on the baby-board. The main complaint (23%) against this design is that the front seat does not recline enough for infants who still need more head support or babies that want to nap. Granted, infants can be kept in their infant carrier until they are old enough to hold up their frames. Most parent and toddlers alike loved the jump seat/baby board concept as it gave their toddler a greatly improved sense of freedom over regular stroller seating.
driver comfort
positive reviewsB
The primary complaint against the Sit N Stand for driver comfort was the lack of a cup holder (10%), although many parents simply stuck a bottle of water in the basket. The second most frequent complaint (5%) was against the difficulty of steering the Sit N Stand up hills or on any surfaces that weren't smooth.
smoothness of ride
positive reviewsB-
The Sit N Stand lacks any real suspension and is therefore not designed to handle anything besides the smoothest of man-made surfaces (e.g. mall linoleum, suburban side walks, parking lots). One mother reported that she experienced a great deal of pain from the vibrations she experienced when both of her children were in the stroller. On the whole, most parents felt the ride was smooth enough given that they stayed on the very beaten path.
weather protection
positive reviewsC-
In general, parents felt that the canopy was fairly effective at keeping the sun off their infant or child seated in the front seat, although most also felt that the back seat protection was simply nonexistent and even obnoxious as it would hit their child's head while they were seated in the jump seat.
