CONVENIENCE TOTAL GRADE: B+
weight
positive reviewsA+
As an umbrella stroller, the C5 delivers some 13.5 pounds of easy-to-lift umbrella-stroller goodness, and of course received kudos for it's lightweight frame from even those parents that otherwise loathed this stroller.
folding
positive reviewsA-
The large majority of reviewers reported that their Chicco C5 was quite easy to fold and neatly compact when folded down (which isn't hard for an umbrella stroller to do) as well as actively appreciating the included fabric carry-strap. Still there were a few parents that complained that the folding mechanism was somewhat stiff and required a bit muscle before they could effectively fold up their stroller.
cleaning
positive reviewsA-
Although the C5 stain-resistant fabric on the seat and canopy aren't removable they are easy enough to clean with hot-anti-bacterial soap-n-water.
storage options
positive reviewsB-
It's an umbrella stroller, which generally means that people are grateful for whatever storage they can get, and in general people did appreciate the back canopy pocket as well as the (rather small) under-seat basket, although there were a number of complaints regarding the difficulty of accessing the under-seat basket when the seat was reclined. That's a fairly run-of-the-mill design flaws many strollers still have.
