CHILD SAFETY TOTAL GRADE: C+

A number of parents complained about the five-point harness straps on the Savvy Soho being too large to secure their smaller child in the seat and felt that the straps were rather difficult to adjust. Approximately one third of the reviewers felt that the five point harness was secure and easy to use.

Although a majority of reviewers felt that the Soho handled quite well on smooth surfaces, there were some parents who complained about the difficulty of steering the Soho with only one hand. One reviewer reported that the Soho's brakes started rubbing on the wheel-- adding extra tension to the entire driving experience.

C-

Several parents had various complaints regarding the long-term reliability of the Soho including: wheel deterioration within 2 months of purchasing, the basket ripped, and the brake stops fell off. In addition, one mother reported that the entire stroller tipped over while her child was strapped into the stroller. All of these complaints were doubly impacted by the reported difficulty with Combi's customer service. On the other hand, there were a small number of parents who felt that the Soho's frame was quite durable.
