price variations
All-terrain strollers are the trendiest strollers on the market right now and command a great deal of the existing stroller market's advertising money. So it's no surprise that at the top of the line, a double all-terrain stroller can sell for over $1000. The lower range all-terrain double strollers are still not super cheap-usually never selling for less than $150. In general, the higher prices reflect an increase in the quality of the stroller components and design, as well as the labor intensive aspects withn the manufacturing process, which inevitably contribute to the overall durability, innovation, and luxury of a particular all-terrain model.
Many upper end all-terrain double strollers are so much more expensive than their lower-end counterparts because they come with a number of features that make them much more functionally versatile, including: universal infant carrier accommodations, reversible seating for a pram ride for newborns and the outward facing seat for world-interested toddlers, some include a snuggly winter boot, and a few even come with a bassinet function. Keep in mind that popular brands have additional cause to elevate their prices beyond the stroller's manufactured value simply because their reputation carries intrinsic monetary value.
