BASIC FEATURES
folding and stowing
Collapsing in your arms: By definition, an umbrella stroller folds rather like an umbrella and should do so with the greatest of ease. Because double umbrella strollers are bigger than single umbrella strollers, they usually require a bit more patience. Even though most stroller manufacturers have come up with very clever and innovational folding mechanisms to make their stroller remarkably compact once folded, many parents still find these folding mechanisms counter-intuitive at first blush. So save yourself some time and frustration and carefully read the instructions.
In terms of the overall integrity of the double umbrella stroller, the folding mechanism can either compromise the chassis or not. Look for reinforced joints that snap or lock into place when open and also locking devices to keep the stroller folded when you've collapsed it down to prevent any sort of obnoxious and/or painful injuries to little (and big) fingers.
Packing it in: You've got a nice light double umbrella stroller, so hopefully, your stroller folds down to a nice compact shape. But make sure you don't break it when you throw it in the back of your vehicle!
