CHILD SAFETY TOTAL GRADE: B
harness system
positive reviewsA
Older MetroLite models feature a three-point harness system, and the newer ones a five point harness, both harness systems received high levels of parental satisfaction.
maneuvering
positive reviewsB
The reviews are somewhat mixed on the MetroLite stroller with it’s front swivel wheels and stationary back wheels. Several parents found the stroller maneuvered well: steering with one hand was possible, it turned on a dime, and the back wheel locks were very secure. Other reviewers found it impossible to steer with one hand, and that the brakes were difficult to use.
sturdiness
positive reviewsC+
Overall, parents reported that the MetroLite stroller feels sturdy with its aluminum frame. About half of the reviewers felt that the stroller was or would last over time. The other half, noted that their strollers became increasingly difficult to close and open, looked worn out and creaky, and even started losing wheels!
