CONVENIENCE TOTAL GRADE: B+
weight
positive reviewsA+
At 15 pounds the MetroLite is nice and light, but not ultra-light. The key difference here, is that many parents felt that this umbrella stroller fulfilled many of their needs as if it were a full size stroller.
folding
positive reviewsA-
Although the MetroLite folds neatly into a much smaller size in spite of it’s many features, the manufacturers also claim that this stroller can be easily broken down with one hand, while the parents tend to disagree. By in large, it is agreed that it is possible to fold with one hand, but somewhat more difficult than if they used both hands. Parents also appreciated the fact that The MetroLite stands upright when folded.
cleaning
positive reviewsB-
The MetroLite’s seat fabric is sturdy and cleans easily, although one reviewer noted that wiping down the darker color caused the colors to immediately fade from black to brown, other reviews noted the same effect over time for the canopy.
storage options
positive reviewsA-
With cup and snack holders for both parents and child, a reinforced basket big enough to fit a normal 10 pound diaper bag , there is plenty of storage space on the MetroLite-- especially for such a lightweight stroller. Unfortunately, accessibility to the underseat baskey is nearly impossible when the seat is fully reclined.
