COMFORT TOTAL GRADE: B
seating
positive reviewsC+
Although parents reported that their kids love riding in this jogging stroller, several reviewers felt that the seat's most upright position is still reclined a bit too much, leading their children to strain to sit up straight. One mother solved this problem by placing folded blankets behind the children's backs. Additionally, one mother noted that the height limit for this stroller (38 inches) was almost too short for her two-year old daughter at 37 inches.
driver comfort
positive reviewsA-
As we believe jogging strollers should be designed to support parents in their need to stay hydrated while jogging, we always dock points for forgetting to build a cupholder. Even so, a few reviewers were able to use the pouch on the back for their closed drink container with no problem. Finally, parents felt that the height of the ergonomically designed handle was very comfortably designed.
smoothness of ride
positive reviewsA+
Of course the ride is ultra-smooth: it's a jogging stroller! Happily, all of the reviewers felt that this jogging stroller managed all sorts of terrain without a hitch, including: sand, gravel, dirt, and grass.
weather protection
positive reviewsB-
One of the main complaints against this stroller: the insufficient sun protection from the canopy. Admittedly, parents did appreciate the fact the canopy could be retracted. Rain and mosquito covers can be purchased as accessories at a reasonable rate at InStep's website www.instep.org.
