JOGGING STROLLERS

BASIC FEATURES
basic features for the parent

My achy breaky back: For many tall parents there is always the risk that the stroller they purchase will end up giving them lower back pains as a result of extended hunching over the handles. Most jogging strollers tend to be designed with tall or height adjustable handles, but for the shorter parents out there: many of the jogging stroller handles are actually a bit too high for your natural running style, so make sure you're comfortable with the height prior to purchasing.

Everything but the kitchen sink: When it comes to jogging strollers you can expect a decent sized under-seat basket that can carry a diaper bag, an extra blanket, or whatever you need to be prepared when you go running with your child. Also look for internal pockets in the seating, as well as a place for your keys, water bottle, and cell phone near the handle bar(s).

The shiny happy jogging stroller parent checklist:

  1. Uncomfortable handles for your wrists & hands: Don't buy it!
  2. You're hunched over the stroller or the handles are too high: Don't buy it!
  3. The stroller frame intrudes on your natural stride: Don't buy it!
