Basically, turning this double stroller is best accomplished if the two children sitting in it are in the same weight category. Several parents experienced some difficulty steering the stroller with two children of different weights. Of course, it's self-explanatory name, Side-by-side, lets you know that it's probably going to be a bit of a trick to fit through most doors and aisles. Although it actually DOES fit through most doors, it's a close call on the narrower doors.

Many parents used the stroller for everyday use without having any breakdowns or failures, although several pointed out the fact that hanging diaper bags across the handles or overloading the mesh baskets on the back tends to cause the stroller to tip when the kids jumped out of the seats. One parent had a wheel component fall off after months of hard-use and when she called Kolcraft they sent her a brand-new stroller!
