The Global Buggy is Maclaren's well-intended step into the world of travel systems and on most counts it puts its best foot forward. They've generously included a universal carseat adaptor, giving parents that nice bit of freedom rarely seen on other travel systems (except Zooper). Other good stuff: it's a fully functioning pram with a five-position recline, ultra-plush seating, with an adjustable foot rest, one-handed steering, nicely compact folded-down body, fairly respectable underseat storage, an uber-sleek look, and the 2005 models are built with a parent pocket and bottle holder. The dodgy bits: you'll never be able to access the storage basket once the seat is reclined, many people have had problems with the hood getting warped within a short amount of time, and because it's Maclaren, it's not cheap by any stretch of the imagination.
