Although most parents appreciated the security and comfort afforded by the padded adjustable five-point harness system on the Global Buggy, one mother felt that the shoulder straps were set a little high for younger infants.

With 100% parental appreciation for the fact the Global Buggy can be steered one handed, there's no doubt that this Maclaren stroller is a piece of cake to maneuver wherever you go.

sturdiness
positive reviews
C

There were multiple reports of real problems with the sun canopy slowly warping as a result of the flimsy design responding to the stress of repeated foldings. One particularly bad case reported the breaking of brackets that hold the stroller in its opened position. Upon exchange of the stroller with a new model, the same people reported that the parts that controlled the seat recline broke. Based on the fact that there were no other serious reports of break downs in the fundamental build of the frame, we still feel that this is an isolated incident and that the Global Buggy is safe as an overall product. Approximately 60% of owners reported no difficulties in terms of the canopy or other components breaking.
