In this particular review we're going to actually blanket-review both the Maclaren Techno XT and the Techno Classic as their design components are virtually identical save a few added features on the Techno Classic (such as the included winter boot). Although the 2003 XT models have some fundamental design issues with the wheel components, those have since been handled and the Techno line emerges as one of Maclaren's top-selling flagship strollers. The bad stuff first: a small number of parents experienced problems with the 2004 brakes locking up, an even smaller number felt that the harness design isn't suitable for infants, and there were complaints about the coverage provided by the sun canopy. Otherwise, most urban parents couldn't rave enough about the sleek, sporty, lightweight yet sturdy performance they received from their Techno.
