COMFORT TOTAL GRADE: B
seating
positive reviewsB+
In general, parents felt that their children were quite comfortable in the Twin Traveller as it sports two independent seats which fully recline, and feature infant head rests, winter boots for warmth, and independent extendable leg rests. A small number of parents expressed the desire for a belly bar or kid's tray for that added peace of mind and one mother felt that there wasn't enough padding on the sides of the seat.
driver comfort
positive reviewsB-
Surprisingly, Maclaren forgot about it's tradition of being there for the tall parents. A significant number of the tall parents reported that they tended to kick the center set of back wheels on the Twin Traveller as their stride was simply not accommodated. On the other hand a majority of parents thoroughly enjoyed steering the Twin Traveller.
smoothness of ride
positive reviewsA-
Keep in mind that the Twin Traveller simply isn't designed to endure any sort of rough surface and you will be happy with how smooth the ride is. For this reason and this reason alone, parents complained this double stroller has difficultly with surfaces any rougher than pavement.
weather protection
positive reviewsB-
Although parents appreciated the fact that the sun canopies are independently adjustable, many felt that the sun protection wasn't as good as it could be. That said, there were a number of parents who appreciated the rain canopy's ability to keep their little ones snug and dry.
