CONVENIENCE TOTAL GRADE: A-
weight
positive reviewsB+
Weighing in at 23 lbs, the A3 isn't a miracle of light weighted wonder, but still many parents felt that the chassis wasn't really too heavy-- just a bit heavier than they'd like. But hey, some day maybe they'll invent the 5 pound luxury stroller, untill then we'll all be grunting a bit when we heft our stroller in and out of the car.
folding
positive reviewsB+
Overall, parents were quite positive about how easy the book folding mechanism on the A3 functioned, although about 25% noted that there is a bit of a learning curve on efficiently opening the stroller and a few moms complained about the fact that once you've folded the stroller down with one hand, you've got to use both hands to pick it up off the ground. Parents also appreciated the fact that the A3 can stand on its own once folded.
cleaning
positive reviewsA+
The material is plush, but does it clean up easily? Well, the seat padding is removable and machine-washable; the canopy takes spot cleaning (Woolite, Oxyclean, baby-wipes, you name it) like a champ. So yeah, it's not that hard to keep the Peg Perego A3 looking as good as the day you bought it.
storage options
positive reviewsA+
In the storage department, the A3 takes the cake. Not only were parents unanimously impressed with the amount of space afforded to them by the A3's underseat basket, they also appreciated the overall (non-sagging) easy access durability of the basket as well as the the two pop-out adult cupholders.
