COMFORT TOTAL GRADE: A
seating
positive reviewsA
It's no surprise when talking about Peg Perego's that the A3 received unanimously positive review on the comfort and luxury of the seating and the seat padding. Everyone agrees: the A3 is super comfy, but the pram/bassinet function design has only a mild nuisance factor in that-- in order to adjust the seat to or from the bassinet setting (via a clever little zipper mechanism), you will have to remove your little passenger first. Then again, some parents felt it was quite easy to adjust.
driver comfort
positive reviewsA-
One of the few design perks the A3 misses: there aren't any height-adjustable handles. Even still, there are no complaints from owners regarding the height of the handles (although one mom speculated that taller parents might not like it so much), and parents do appreciate the both the ergonomic simplicity of the single handle and the swing-out cup holders-- although there were quite a few parents wishing for a parent's tray (give 'em cupholders and they're still not satified!).
smoothness of ride
positive reviewsA+
Thematically, we could say that reviews on the Peg Perego A3 are all about how this stroller rides Smooth-- with a capital 's'. What with the large wheels, suspension, and well-designed chassis, (okay, it's not an all-terrain stroller), it's no surprise that there's nary a complaint about how this stroller handles the various surfaces parents encounter, but remember it IS NOT an all-terrain stroller-- and cannot stand up to the same sort of surfaces that an all-terrain stroller could.
weather protection
positive reviewsA+
How does the phrase "big fat sun canopy" make you feel? The A3 comes with one of the larger sun canopies on the market (and the neat-o peekaboo window), which will keep you little passenger's delicate skin and eyes well-shielded from direct sunlight.
