CHILD SAFETY TOTAL GRADE: B
harness system
positive reviewsA-
The Aria's five point harness system received fairly high marks from all of the reviewers, although one parent complained about the design of the helper hook, which is intended to keep your child secure while they're being secured in their seat. Once they are secured the straps slide quite easily out of the hook, in order to give your child added mobility and comfort. The harness design is in contrast to the more typical design which restrains your child against the back of the seat at all times.
maneuvering
positive reviewsC
Depending on who you talk to, the Aria MT is 1) very difficult to steer with the inability to handle corners at all (approximately 30%), 2) requires at least two hands to navigate effectively (about 40%), or 3) offers nice-n-easy one-handed steering (another 30%). Such mixed reviews are not a good sign for this particular model, but the fact is some parents reported no problems whatsoever when maneuvering their Aria. Still, easy maneuvering should be a given with a stroller of this price, not a gamble.
sturdiness
positive reviewsA-
In general, there were no reports of break downs, although one parent reported a loose screw after two years of use. Another mother complained about the plastic feel of the stroller. In general, the Aria receives solid overall durability marks.
