COMFORT TOTAL GRADE: C+
seating
positive reviewsB-
With an infinitely adjustable seat recline, removable child snack tray, universal car seat adaptor, and the Peg Perego material, you'd think all the reviewers would only be able to sing the praises of the Aria's seating. Unfortunately, this is not the case. There were still parents who: felt the seat material wasn't plush enough (15%), experienced difficulty securing their particular car seat via the straps provided (10%), and complained about the lack of an adjustable leg rest (5%). On the other hand, a majority of parents appreciated the child snack tray, owners of the SnugRide claimed they could easily snap it right in, and most parents thought their children seemed quite comfortable while seated in the Aria.
driver comfort
positive reviewsB+
The good intentions of Peg Perego's newer strollers, involves a sort of ad-hoc cup holder snapped onto the handle bar which is reportedly quite small and flimsy-- to the point many parents felt it was nearly useless, and some ultimately just took it off the stroller altogether. On the up side, parents did unanimously appreciate the parent tray and the design and height of the Aria's handle.
smoothness of ride
positive reviewsB
A majority of reviewers reported that the Aria's ride was smooth enough if/when they were on easy flat surfaces, although they also noted that the Aria doesn't effectively handle any real curbs or bumpy sidewalks without a struggle.
weather protection
positive reviewsD
The Aria MT might be light as a feather, good looking, and easy to use, but it provides virtually NO sun protection whatsoever. Unless you live in a country where direct sunlight is not an issue (like ummmm... Greenland), the Aria's sun canopy is pretty much a joke as well as being the predominant complaint against the stroller.
