COMFORT TOTAL GRADE: A-
seating
positive reviewsA-
It's not a major secret that Peg Perego delivers one of the most comfortable rides for your baby-- as any of the owners of the Pliko Matic can attest. There were some minor complaints: (1) the backstep is unusable when the seat is reclined, and the newer models are designed soley to accomodate the rather spendy Prima Viaggo infant carrier, which are not so well-loved as Peg Perego's strollers.
driver comfort
positive reviewsA-
With adjustable handles, you'd think that the Pliko Trek would be just fine for driver comfort... and all things being equal it IS tall-user-friendly. On the other hand, many of the parents didn't like the separate umbrella handles on the Pliko Matic. Additionally, the newer models sport a conveninent cup-holder--although not so convenient for the larger "American-sized" cups and bottles.
smoothness of ride
positive reviewsA-
With all-wheel suspension, most parents were impressed with the Pliko Matic's smooth ride over sidewalks, grass, and some gravel. There was a small percentage who complained about the fact that the Pliko Matic couldn't handle all of the bumps they encountered, although it isn't really designed as an off-road stroller.
weather protection
positive reviewsA-
The majority of parents appreciated the convenience and protection of the oversized canopy, which extends to fully cover the seat, although some parents felt it was a bit flimsy given the fact they were able to bend it in half.
