Peg Perego Pliko P3 Classico

CHILD SAFETY TOTAL GRADE: A-

harness system
positive reviews
B+

There were plenty of raves for the Pliko P3 Classico's sturdy five-point harness design, although there were a few complaints against the fact that straps aren't padded--forcing a few parents to buy padding for the straps. Also, two reviewers noted that although the stroller is designed for newborns, the actual harness is much too small for infants or even more petite toddlers.

maneuvering
positive reviews
A

The Pliko P3 Classico received 100% positive reviews for its maneuvering; with some parents claiming they could steer it one-handed and that it turns on a dime. In addition, parents loved the foot brake, reporting that it is extremely solid--even when being used on hills. Finally, the front wheels can be locked, but only by hand-- a minor complaint from a small percentage of parents.

sturdiness
positive reviews
A-

In general, parents felt that the P3 Classico overall frame and build were extremely sturdy, although there were reports of the cupholder breaking off quite easily, and one complaint about the fabric tearing easily when washed in a machine. Typically, Peg Perego materials are designed to be hand-washed only, perhaps explaining why machine-washing the fabric resulted in easy tearing.
