CONVENIENCE TOTAL GRADE: B+
weight
positive reviewsB+
Again, we are talking about a three-seated stroller designed to handle up to 135 pounds of baby-weight, so it's no surprise that the stroller weighs between 40 and 50 pounds depending on the model you purchase. Surprisingly, most parents had little against the weight-- probably because they were too busy chasing their three kids around the parking lot trying to get them into the car.
folding
positive reviewsB-
It's rather difficult to get away from the fact that this stroller is massive-- and how this effects most every part of your interaction with the Triplette. Generally, parents felt that although the folding was a bit of a process, once you had some practice at breaking the stroller down, it was less than a five minute process, which involves taking all of the seats off first. Also, be warned, this stroller is not for owners of sedans or compact cars. Basically, no matter what deal you get on the actual stroller, you'd better have a minivan handy to store this beast.
cleaning
positive reviewsB
As is typical for Peg Perego, the fabric is removable for handwash only-- not very convenient for a parent with three little ones running around.
storage options
positive reviewsA+
Well now, the one advantage of owning a limousine stroller: the amount of space available under the seats for three times the diapers/bottles/toys/snacks. And this is one area where the Triplette delivers without question.
