The short version of the Bugaboo success-story starts in the Netherlands in a design academy in 1994, when a young Max Barenbrug tried to design a stroller that could function with a bike and convert into a backpack. Together with his brother-in-law, who also happens to be a medical doctor, Max (and some very clever marketing types) have turned the Bugaboo brand into somewhat of legend as one of the more expensive names on the stroller market.
