As a well-known higher-end designer of outdoors wear and gear, Eddie Bauer is an American company licensed by Dorel Industries in cooperation with the Dorel Juvenile Group, Cosco, and Safety-First to design a full line of baby-gear. Unfortunately, Eddie Bauer’s sterling reputation in outdoors gear does not quite extend to their line of strollers, which are best described as affordable low-to mid-end quality strollers.
read moreThe most popular stroller model sold by Eddie Bauer is their Two-Way Stadium Seating All Terrain Tandem stroller, which is notorious for its clunky body and is definitely less-than adored by most parents who own it. Other popular models include the Aluminum Travel System and the All Terrain Travel System, both of which receive rather mixed reviews--slightly more positive than negative in tone.
The entire line of Eddie Bauer strollers are quite affordable, with nary a one (not even the two-seaters) crossing the $200 mark. The attractiveness of these lower price tags is somewhat counterbalanced by the overall quality of the manufacturing process: many of Eddie Bauer’s most popular strollers have repeatedly been reported to have minor breakdowns.
Because Eddie Bauer was clever enough to not directly sell their own strollers, they cannot be held accountable for the potentially reduced quality of their distributor’s customer service. There are numerous reports of less-than-satisfactory interactions with Eddie Bauer’s most prominent distributor, Cosco.
