The first and foremost appeal of Kolcraft strollers is their affordability, with their primary design strengths invested into Kolcraft’s line of umbrella strollers. Far and away Kolcraft’s most popular stroller, is their Reclining Umbrella stroller, which sells for less than $40. Another popular line of strollers sold by Kolcraft comes out of a partnership with Jeep and includes models such as the Jeep Wagoneer Tandem, Jeep Liberty, Cruiser, and Grand Cherokee, of which the Wagoneer Tandem was quite popular until parents became aware of what a bear this Kolcraft double stroller is to steer, collapse, and stow.

As mentioned above, Kolcraft strollers sell at easy-to-swallow prices far below the $100 mark (with the exception of their tandem strollers running a bit over $100). Not surprisingly, at these prices parents tend to buy a Kolcraft stroller relatively guilt-free, although it’s not uncommon for parents to reports small breakdowns in the stroller within a fairly short amount of time. For those parents who are satisfied with their Kolcraft strollers, they still tend to have some minor complaints (i.e. it’s bulky when folded, seat not padded enough, not enough storage and so on). Kolcraft’s customer response to breakdowns in their strollers tends to be slightly below average… but at their prices their representatives can hardly afford to be gracious.
