Best known in the states for their growingly popular all-terrain strollers (e.g. the Runabout and Rebel) and many add-ons (including a toddler seat and bassinet options), Valco Baby tends to run in direct competition against the much-beloved Mountain Buggy name brand, with parents frequently deciding between the two stroller brands. In general, Valco strollers are on the higher (but not highest) price range level and have a reputation for being high quality with plush accessories in addition to their durable frame components, although they are not without some complaints in terms of durability. Their customer service reviews are quite mixed. Some parents report difficult getting through to a representative while others have complained about problems with the company honoring their warranty. On the other hand, there are reports of positive interactions and response from other customer service representatives. Granted, the Valco Baby customer service experience in the states tends to be largely determined by the distributor from which the stroller is purchased.
