CHILD SAFETY TOTAL GRADE: B-
harness system
positive reviewsB
In general, reviewers are satisfied with the Micro's five-point harness system although there are a small number of complaints regarding the fact the straps aren't adjustable and one mother felt the straps seemed a bit flimsy.
maneuvering
positive reviewsB+
First off, parents unanimously loved the large 6 inch wheels on the Micro, with a majority of positive reports about it's capacity to handle corners, bumps, cobblestone, and even snow better than similar models with smaller wheel sizes (e.g. the Volo). Several reviewers noted they were able to easily steer the stroller one-handed, but there are a small percentage of negative reports (10%) regarding the Micro's ability to maneuver including: reports of problems with a front wheel no longer touching the ground as a result of frame warping and one report of a front wheel no longer rotating (which of course makes the stroller impossible to steer).
sturdiness
positive reviewsC
Despite the many wonderful features on this ultra-lightweight stroller, there were multiple reports of problems with the Micro's durability which were further compounded by 100% reports of bad customer service and an unwillingness to stand by the Silver Cross name brand. Specific reports include the following breakdowns: 1) warping hood (2%), problems with the front wheel and maneuvering (10%), and issues with the frame warping (3%).
