At 25 lbs, the Valco Runabout is not a light stroller by any stretch, but most parents felt that because the Runabout is designed as an all-terrain stroller that the extra durability and functionality more than compensate for the nuisance-factor of a heavier frame. Thus the weight of the Runabout was not a major complaint overall. Still, there were many parents who admitted that is was a nuisance at times if they had to repeatedly lift the stroller in and out of their vehicles.
