Valco Runabout

COMFORT TOTAL GRADE: A-

seating
positive reviews
B+

The standard seating on the Valco Runabout received positive reviews from parents for its plush cushiony comfort, but several parents noted that the recline mechanism (a zipper-belt device) was a bit obnoxious to use. Additionally, if you do end up buying the toddler seat, it obviously does not recline and therefore, doesn't provide optimum back support for your sleepy toddler.

driver comfort
positive reviews
A+

Despite the lack of a parent tray (read: no cup holder), parents had nary a complaint against how easy and comfortable the Runabout (and the height of its handle) was to steer and use.

smoothness of ride
positive reviews
A+

As an all-terrain stroller, it's no surprise that the Runabout receives the highest marks from all the parents for its ultra-smooth ride afforded by the super-duper suspension and three 12 inch pneumatic tires.

weather protection
positive reviews
B+

In general, parents were fairly satisfied with the weather protection offered on the Valco Runabout, although there were a small percentage of parents who felt that the canopy was too small and provided less-than optimal coverage from the sun.
