Zooper Boogie

CHILD SAFETY TOTAL GRADE: B+

Parents unanimously expressed their approval of the Boogie's easily adjustable padded five point harness system-- which can easily be shifted into a three-point "shoulders free" mode.

Despite the many positive reviews of the front swivel wheel (which when unlocked is capable of 360 degree rotation) providing the Boogie with superior "turning on a dime" steering, there were a few parents who experienced trouble with the front tire not staying fixed in it's locked position. (A bit of pain when you need to be going straight for long stretches, such as a jogger might want). Additionally, one mother noted that she is not able to trust the parking brake on hills. Otherwise, parents appreciated the one-press foot brake bar that spans both wheels and the "slowing" hand brake.

sturdiness
positive reviews
B-

In general, the Boogie is built like a truck and offers the same amount of durability-- at least at first blush. Unfortunately, Zooper seems to be providing all of their strollers with sub-par frame components. The frame itself is made of aluminum, but the smaller screws and such tend to rust after exposure to dampness. This is a repeated issue amongst Zooper owners of differing models, and clearly not something anyone wants to see happening to their stroller.
